چکیده

Abstract We study quantum transport in a single molecular transistor which the central region consists of single-level dot and is connected to two metallic leads that act as source drain respectively. The considered be under influence electron–electron electron–phonon interactions. placed on an insulating substrate acts heat reservoir interacts with phonon giving rise damping effect dot. interaction decoupled by applying canonical transformation then spectral density calculated from resultant Hamiltonian using Keldysh Green function technique. also calculate tunneling current differential conductance dissipation, electron correlation lattice effects at finite temperature.

Modeling and Simulation of a Molecular Single-Electron Transistor

In this paper, to understand the concept of coupling, molecule density of states that coupled to the metal electrodes will be explained then, based on this concept, a weak and strong coupling for the molecules attached to the metal electrodes will be described. Capacitance model is used to explore the connection of addition energy with the Electron affinity and the ionization energy of the mole...

The Analysis of Coulomb Blockade in Fullerene Single Electron Transistor at Room Temperature

The Graphene based single electron transistor (SET) as a coulomb blockade device need to be explored .It is a unique device for high-speed operation in a nano scale regime. A single electron transfers via the coulomb barriers, but its movement may be prevented by coulomb blockade, so its effect is investigated in this research. The conditions of coulomb blockade and its controlling factors such...

Quantum Chemistry at Finite Temperature

In this article, we present emerging fields of quantum chemistry at finite temperature. We discuss its recent developments on both experimental and theoretical fronts. First, we describe several experimental investigations related to the temperature effects on the structures, electronic spectra, or bond rupture forces for molecules. These include the analysis of the temperature impact on the pa...

A Silicon Single-Electron Transistor Memory Operating at Room Temperature

A single-electron memory, in which a bit of information is stored by one electron, is demonstrated at room temperature. The memory is a floating gate metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor in silicon with a channel width ( approximately 10 nanometers) smaller than the Debye screening length of a single electron and a nanoscale polysilicon dot ( approximately 7 nanometers by 7 nanometers) as the f...
